Yellow synthetic sapphire (the stones synthetic are manufactured in laboratory, their compositions chemical and their physical properties are the same ones as those of the natural stones).

With a laps 100 diamond and one tastes with tastes cooling agent I preform the stone with the hand.

The preform is finished, the top in the center will be the table of the stone thereafter.

With a dop and a little wax at high temperature, I stick the stone on the dop using a mini blowtorch (this wax resists a temperature of 120 degrees).

On this photo of dop and fixed on the arm, the arm lies and goes down in degrees and turns from left to right, it turns in divisible circle by 96 equal segments.

With the laps 100 diamond I cut the stone, then I will change with a finer set with laps diamond and will begin the final cutting of the smallest facets which will be ready for polishing.

I used a laps 800 diamond for final cutting.

Now let us pass to polishing, I use a disc in composite, oil and powder set with diamonds grain of 8000 for pre polishing and 50000 to polish and suprimer the small stripes.

It is enough to 4 or 5 drops of oil and a small powder pinch set with diamonds to polish a stone. It is necessary to repeat the opperation for each grain used, 8000 and 50000.

Here oil and spread out well over all the surface of the disc.

On this photo you can see the facets of the rondist and some facets on the pavillion pre polish.

You can see that the pre polish and finished with the powder diamond grain of 8000.

You can see the block of transfers which allows it to transfer a stone on another dop, I heat a little wax in the dop of right-hand side and I the introduces the pavillion of the stone in the dop (the pavillion is the lower part of the stone, the crown the top and the rondist the sides).

Now I detach the part of left with the mini blowtorch.

The dop is in place in the arm, the crown is ready to be cut.

I started to cut the facets of the crown, you can still see wax of the first dop.

The cut of the crown is finished with the laps 800 diamond, now I go the pre polish and the polish.

The crown is pre polish and polished, it does remain more which heated of dop to remove the stone, the remainder of wax and to remove with alcohol with 90°.

After 10 hours of works you can see the result, it is very brilliant, this form is composed of 177 facets, I created this design using the software 3D GemCad.
